Kaanai canyon
I'm a little confused here when I hear ppl say that Kaanai Canyon is strongly in favor of the Luxons. Last week me and my guildie tried a new tricksy, we actually used the powder kegs and entered the castle. We capped the shrines and started killing the guards on the wall. After they were all dead it was easy ownage, every Luxon player spawning was wiped out neatly right away leaving the others without reinforcements. We won 4 times in a row. Never happened before with that map, maybe ppl should just stop running around the castle and actually go inside...
Others feel the same way?

The reason Kaanai Canyon favors the Luxons is because of the interior. Against a team with more than 20 combined brain cells, they'll take the teleporters out, and cap the other shrines you're leaving undefended by trying to hold the interior. If they take the rez shrines, then you're stuck respawning at your main base. They can zerg the interior off of the respawn points, you can't. Unlike Keys or Grenz, you can't solve that just by camping the exits.
Against a smart team, capping the interior causes all three north points to get retaken, the interior gets retaken as it crumbles under pressure, and then the Kurzicks get spawn-camped with a shrine count of 2-5 at the absolute best. And usually it's not that good, because people retake the south shrines as they camp the teleporters.
So what is an effective tactic for Kurzicks? I dunno, hope the Luxons are awful? I switch allegiance when it hits that map because it's a free win. If you want to maximize your Kurzick faction, then just run a cap group hitting the (generally-ignored) south shrines. You can usually count on AT LEAST one rez shrine being constantly yours because they're hard to retake with constant respawn zerg.
